Technical Difficulties

Matt Cooper Here at Pod Zeppelin we run a pretty low budget operation. Hell, when I say low budget, their is no budget. We're in the fucking red every month. We can't afford to have our equipment break down. You can imagine my panic when the trackpad on my MacBook Pro suddenly stopped working properly. This was causing trouble with the podcast audio while the show was live as well as in postproduction. Not good.
I decided to take the battery out since it sits right below the trackpad. Bingo. My battery had begun to expand which prevented the trackpad from operating properly. So, now what? Well, thankfully, I bought the AppleCare extended warranty and the Apple store in Thousand Oaks, CA. replaced my battery for free ($100 value & $100 I can't be spending). So far, I've used the AppleCare to replace the power supply, the DVD/CD drive, and now the battery. To say I'm relieved would be an understatement. On with the PODCAST!
You can see the battery expanding.
